Common questions
What do I need to switch carriers and keep my number?
Moving your existing phone number to a new carrier is called a port-in. Carriers generally ask for your account number and a transfer PIN from your old carrier, plus a photo ID, to complete it.
What is a SIM swap?
A SIM swap moves your phone service to a new SIM card, usually because you got a new phone, your old SIM was lost, or your phone uses a different SIM size.
Can I pay my prepaid bill somewhere other than online?
Many prepaid carriers allow bill payment at authorized retail locations using your phone number or account number, in addition to paying online or through an app.
Do prepaid plans require a contract?
Prepaid plans generally do not require a long-term contract. You pay in advance for a set period, and you can typically change or cancel a plan without an early termination fee.
